Who We Are


  • The Data Manager Affinity Group comprises state coordinators of early childhood special education (often called 619 Coordinators).

  • The affinity group's primary goal is to support representatives in expanding their knowledge and expertise as state leaders of early childhood special education (ECSE).

  • This affinity group's unique purpose is to provide valuable information, resources, and networking opportunities for state data managers through:

    1. Enhancing their understanding of effective

What We Do


The IDEA Data Managers Affinity Group:

  1. Participates in the business of the association.

  2. Informs, supports, and implements aligned initiatives of NASDSE's strategic plan.

  3. Updates the NASDSE Board of Directors on the initiatives, progress, and needs of the affinity group.

  4. Collaborates with state directors and other affinity groups to address critical needs of state data managers.

  5. Contributes to the overall well-being of NASDSE and promotes the association in the field of IDEA special Education data.

  6. Keeps AG members apprised of NASDSE activities and opportunities.
