Renee Charleswell, Ph.D. began her job as State Director of Special Education in the Virgin Islands in 2015. Prior to becoming the State Director of Special Education in the Virgin Islands, Renee served as State Office of Special Education Compliance Monitor.

Renee believes the best part about leading special education in Virgin Islands is improving outcomes for students with ABILITIES!!!
